Matteo Scher is a New York based songwriter and producer. At 21, he is making a name for himself in the NYC songwriting scene. After honing his songwriting skills through a debut E.P in 2017 and two follow up singles as an artist as well as accompanying artist on the piano at venues including Webster Hall and Highline Ballroom, Matteo pivoted, dedicating himself fully to co-writing and producing other artists.
He currently co-writes with artists and songwriters at Warner Chappell, Sony, One RPM. In 2018, he co-wrote songs “Livin Young” “Headrush” and “Apt. 309” released by Mike Liegel. Produced “Crash and Burn” by Rosie, and recorded synths on “Lady” by Moha.
His music has been reviewed by publications including Huff Post, Popdust, and many others. His music has also been featured on Spotify Editorial playlists and his song “Best Shot” reached #17 on the Itunes Argentina Top 100 Chart.
When not writing with artists Matteo can be found giving back through teaching teenagers songwriting at SOCAPA Summer Camp and watching baseball.
